Stride for a Stronger Community
Join us for the Storehouse Stride, on April 18, 2026, a community walk/run supporting Central Storehouse's mission to nourish our neighbors. Every step you take helps stock our shelves and fill local homes with hope, dignity, and food security. Whether you walk, jog, or race to the finish line, you're fueling more than miles—you're filling the storehouse.
Our mission
The Storehouse Stride was born from a group of health-conscious and active individuals who care deeply about our community and want to see the Storehouse thrive. Seeing an opportunity to both raise funds and promote healthy, active lifestyles, they came together to organize this walk/run in support of Central Storehouse.
Central Storehouse cultivates hope by providing holistic life transformation—offering quality resources and building relationships that foster physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational health. Rooted in the mission of welcoming all who hunger for food and hope, Central Storehouse works without barriers to serve neighbors in need.
Through the Storehouse Stride, we aim to partner with that mission: combining fitness, community, and compassion to raise needed support. Whether you walk, jog, or run, every step helps stock shelves, build community, and deliver dignity to families in our area.

- What is your refund policy?
- The Storehouse Stride 5K is a rain-or-shine event. Because of the upfront costs associated with hosting a race (permits, timing, shirts, medals, supplies, etc.), all registrations are non-refundable.
Thank you for understanding that your registration helps support the mission behind this event, regardless of weather or unforeseen circumstances. - What happens if it rains?
- We're keeping a close eye on the weather and are fully prepared for a safe, well-supported race day — rain or shine.
Light to moderate rain will not cancel the event. In the case of severe weather (lightning, dangerous conditions, or city safety advisories), we will follow local safety guidelines and make decisions with participant and volunteer safety as our top priority.
Any updates will be communicated via email primarily and on our official race channels.
